“Do a little more than you’re paid to do. Give a little more than you have to. Try a little harder than you want to. Aim a little higher than you think possible.” ~ Art Linkletter

A Bakers DozenThese simple words carry powerful meaning, especially to those individuals who are trying to make their mark in a competitive environment – whether professional and personal. What this means is that in everything we do, we should add just a little more. I’m from Louisiana and there we refer to “the extra mile” as “topping it off with a little ‘lagniappe…’” just a little extra. Same goes to a “Bakers Dozen” which is thirteen and not twelve.
If you give, try and aim for just a little more, then your “brand” quotient or quality grows by leaps and bounds. Before you speak or write something to a client, always ask yourself, “What more can I give them? How can I provide more value? What can I do to ensure that they value a relationship with me more than my competitors?”.

Everyone’s personal brand is unique and you can make your Brand even more valuable by giving just a little more today and tomorrow than you did yesterday.
