As 2016 comes to a close, and we are harried to finish up the year, ensuring all is wrapped up with a big, beautiful bow under each of the “trees” in our lives (at home, in the office, in the community); and as we attend holiday parties, rush to buy gifts for our special ones – we shouldn’t just put 2016 to bed, we should reflect on it as well.

As we get older the years seem to get shorter and shorter, and the days go by faster and faster. Let’s take a step back, breathe deeply and look at all we have for which to be thankful.  We become inundated with all “the things to do” and are then rushed to “prepare for the New Year” either by way of resolutions or plans, goals, etc. that we seem to forget about just being GRATEFUL.

In an uncertain world, there are many things we can gripe about – but lest we forget about all the things for which we could and should be so appreciative. At Dynamic Sales Solutions, we have taken our “proverbial step back” and are grateful to and for the people with whom we have been so fortunate to work; the people who invest in us, new clients who we enjoy building relationships with. Our clients. Our friends. Our former colleagues who we’ve known for years and who continue to entrust us with their teams.

We can’t thank people enough for their referrals, support, recommendations – all the ways in which YOU have helped us be successful in 2016.

Yet, we know for you, like us, that it’s not just about business. It is so much more than business. It’s about being grateful for those around us; our family and friends. Those people we have fun with, who lift us up during challenging times and love us through thick and thin.

The holidays always a time for reflection as well as starting a new year with high hopes and desires for a positive change and perhaps even a “new you.” May be it is greater success in your career, or your hope for new found love. Whatever your high hope for 2017, we hope you will resolve to live more often “in the moment” – allowing yourself to enjoy the simple, fleeting seconds that we sometimes take for granted. We certainly plan to.

While in Singapore recently on a training assignment Scott & I discusses how we truly want to know that good people are happy – that good people deserve great happiness. Even strangers that we observed across the street. The random elderly man sitting by himself- we hope he is happy. People everywhere.

So in closing- we share our favorite word lately, grateful. Not just for our good fortune, but for all of us, everywhere. We urge people (as well as ourselves) to be grateful for the people who invest in us, guide us, take a moment to share something of themselves with us-  taking time for another. No one is required to show gratitude, and none of us are entitled to receive it, which makes it that much more special when we do. For that we want to express the joy, fun, love and laughter we have had with you over the past year. Thank you. Thank you for sharing “you” with “us”!

Happy Holidays, Happy New Year, and God Bless each of you.

Kate (and Scott too)
